Susan Boyle - even the young people who work here now know who she is (they're all out drinking heavilly on Saturdays not on the sofa watching BGT). Apparently this is her doing Cry Me a River.
So - the sound engineer who recorded that - is he like some down and out tramp now after 10 years hanging round Glasgow desperately trying to get anyone and everyone to listen to the recording? How does someone with that much talent stay hidden for so long? It's a mystery. If you stayed with it all the way to the end you'll know what we mean when we say 'Blimey!'

See the previous entry. Here's some more territory ripe for err - providing inspiration. Love the slow-mo combined with stop animation effects.

Have a look at this vid for a pop tune. Remember that this is where you saw it first, and start counting the days until it appears in an ad on your tellybox. We confidently predict use of a) the music - perhaps the first bit, sampled and b) the stop motion animation thingymy stylee. There's lots of it about - stop motion animation stuff (is that the right name for it?) - including an entire channel on Vimeo - see here after you've enjoyed the vid.

It's not often that our FD features on the pages of this blog but having made the finals of the Real Business/CBI FDs’ Excellence Awards for FD of the year we thought he was worthy of a mention.
So raise a glass and wish him luck on May 13th when the winner is announced. Always good to have a sharp man looking after the accounts when the economy has a wobble!
To see who he's up against take a look at the Real Business site.

Having been appointed to the NHS London account early this year we've just launched the first of two integrated campaigns.
This campaign highlights the dangers of measles and encourages parents to get the MMR jab for their kids to stop the disease spreading further. During the pitch we uncovered the key stat that 1 in 10 kids who suffer from measles will end up in hospital and this is the key message from the campaign. Already it's proving a big success with numerous primary care trusts supporting the campaign that spans outdoor, press, dm, door drops and information for doctors to use in their surgeries.
